Inside the Sydney Education Expo 2025
On Sunday, April 6th, TWO CUBS proudly took part in the Sydney Education Expo 2025 at Castle Hill RSL—a vibrant event that brought together educators, occupational therapists, allied health professionals, innovative brands, and families, all passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
Now in its second year, the Expo was created to fill a vital gap—connecting education and therapy specialists with the wider community. It offered a place for exchanging ideas, discovering new tools, and building bridges between the classroom, clinic, and home.
We were thrilled to showcase TWO CUBS and introduce Crafty Curls—our screen-free, eco-friendly fine motor tool—to this inspiring audience. It was an incredible opportunity to engage with those who are shaping the future of childhood learning.
TWO CUBS at the Expo
Throughout the day, our TWO CUBS booth was buzzing with excitement, laughter, and little hands hard at work. We were thrilled to see so many children deeply engaged in our Crafty Curls mini workshop, using their imaginations to shape animals, letters, and playful scenes—no screens, no mess, just pure creativity.
One of the most rewarding moments was watching kids return again and again to our table, completely absorbed in their creations. It was the best kind of feedback—we didn’t need words to see how much they loved it! A few young visitors even stayed to chat and tell me their stories while building with Crafty Curls. That connection was incredibly special.
We also connected with many families and educators who were curious about how Crafty Curls could support fine motor development at home and in the classroom. Many were delighted to learn how easy it is to integrate Crafty Curls into preschool craft activities or even tuck them into a kids travel activity bag for on-the-go learning.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by played with Crafty Curls, and took home a flyer or sample. Your encouragement fuels our mission to bring creativity to families across Australia.

Each organisation brought something unique and valuable to the table. We left feeling inspired, supported, and more connected than ever to the incredible community shaping the future of education in Australia.
What We Took Away from the Sydney Education Expo 2025
The Sydney Education Expo 2025 was more than just an event—it was a reminder of how many passionate, dedicated people are working behind the scenes to support the next generation of learners. From educators and occupational therapists to parents and small business owners, the shared energy in the room was uplifting.
We walked away from the day inspired and brimming with ideas for new collaborations. It was clear that there’s a growing demand for tools that nurture development in fun, meaningful, and sustainable ways.
One of the most encouraging moments came from a group of OTs who told us how they already use Crafty Curls as occupational therapy toys, praising their versatility and how effective they are for fine motor skill development and sensory play. It was amazing to hear first-hand how our Crafty Curls are making a real impact in therapy sessions and classrooms alike.
We also saw how much interest there is in kids travel accessories that support learning on the go, like kids travel backpacks, wet bags, and kids activity packs that double as functional, educational storage.
We’re excited to explore new partnerships and ideas sparked by the connections we made. The support we received from the community only strengthened our mission at TWO CUBS: to make learning joyful, sustainable, and accessible—wherever the adventure leads.
Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to Amanda and the entire Sydney Education Expo team for organising such an incredible event. As first-time exhibitors, we felt truly supported every step of the way—and that support was priceless. Your kindness, professionalism, and community spirit made it an experience we’ll never forget.
To everyone who stopped by the TWO CUBS stall—thank you. It was an absolute joy to meet so many educators, therapists, families, and fellow small business owners. Your interest in our products, especially Crafty Curls, and the wonderful feedback we received meant the world to us. Watching children’s faces light up as they created with Crafty Curls was the best reward we could have asked for.
We can’t wait to return next year with even more fun, sustainable resources to share!
